There are no costs collected from parents; all transportation, food & board costs are covered by the Cadet Program. Cadets should expect to bring minimal spending money, and personal hygiene needs.
When/how do I travel?
Travel orders will be shared 7-10 days before departure. You must check your email DAILY from 14 days prior to your course start date to ensure you don’t miss this info.
You will likely travel 1 day PRIOR to your course start date (usually the Sunday, you must be available to depart as early as 6am).
You will likely travel home 1 day AFTER your course end date.
Option for parental pick up at Grad Parade may be available. (More to come in June)
If cadets cannot travel as per assigned arrangement or are sent home early (RTU), travel costs will be at the cadets' responsibility.

Where do we sleep?
Quarters may differ from training centers. As an example from FTX at Blackdown, the soft-wall shelters with bunk beds are used in the summer months.

What do I need to bring?
Joining Instructions will be shared in June.

A small allowance is granted for each day in training (not applicable to virtual courses). Each cadet must have a Bank Account in THEIR OWN name to receive this
Similarly, Staff Cadets must have a Bank Account to receive their remuneration.
Can I bring my phone?
Yes, but usage is limited to non-training hours, and only if permitted by course officers.
