What: This event honours our veterans. Cadets are needed to place and remove the crosses of our veterans.
When: As per signup
Time: 0945hr to 1430hr (Lunch provided) --- Timing TBC
Where: Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough
Who: Cadets are responsible for their own parent pick-up and drop-off directly at Pine Hills Cemetery.
Eligible for Community Volunteer Hours: Yes, 4.5 hours (see Lt Price at the event for sign-off)
Order of Dress: C3 or Black/White Recruit Attire. Dress for Weather (Parka/Coats, gloves/mitts as required)
What to Bring:
Dress for weather (cold, rain or shine)
Health Card
Water bottle
Medications/Epi-Pen as required
Eat breakfast before reporting

What: Cadets will have a 1:1 opportunity with a glider pilot in the Cadet program to experience a familiarization flight, cadets are encouraged to ask questions and explore the pinnacle experience of the Air Cadet Program. Non-flying times will be used for sports/games/support on the flight lines - be prepared to move!
When: As per signup
Time: 0700hr to 1800hr (Lunch provided) --- Timing TBC
Where: Bus from/to Sqn LHQ (Portable)
Who: Only cadets with confirmed spots* - you must register above, and your ticket will be emailed to you.
Order of Dress: Civilian attire, Closed Toe Shoes
What to Bring:
Dress for weather (cold, rain or shine)
Umbrellas are not allowed on flight lines
Hat and Sunscreen is required on sunny days
Closed Toe shoes
Health Card
Water bottles (1L)
Medications/Epi-Pen as required
Silent activity (homework, book, cards) to stay occupied while waiting
Eat breakfast before reporting
Camera may be used with Flight Centre permission
*Spots will be confirmed 4 days before event, Note: meals, transport are prearranged, missed attendance will affect your standing for future activities. And it means someone else could have gone in your place.
Stand by spots (on waiting list) will be confirmed ASAP, but we encourage you to show up at bus departure but prepare to attend/go home.

What: Cadets will be participating in fundraising around the community retail stores. Cadets are stationed outside store doors, dress for the weather!
When: In-Person Fundraising Sep 17 - 20th (Cadets are asked to participate in 3 shifts)

Where: Parental drop off. Cadets to meet directly on site. Site Supervisor will provide collection box
